Life moves by in the blink of an eye.
I have been attending many crops.  Taking classes to make new card designs.  Having a blast.  But I need to start selling what I make.  It is a relaxing way to pass time, but it can get expensive...Will try and post newer cards as I make them...Thanks for checking them out!

March?????

Time flies. I have worked on some cards. Tried the easel one.
The jar with the bug I drew by hand and the bear as well. The flower petals are individually cut circles and then reshaped and curled after sponging them. Hope you like my creations. Have a great day. I will add more later.

January already?

Yes, another year is here and already on the 16th. Where does the time go?
I found a new technique...called an "easel" card. I have been working on them but will need to get pictures posted to add later.
Going to a "crop" in Akron next weekend..can't wait. It should be a lot of fun. When I get more cards done, I will post them.
Hope you have a great week! Take care and stay warm:)

Busy, busy, busy

Well, the Christmas rush is here and I did make it to get all my cards sent out. Yeah! Before Christmas even! I tried new techniques. Sorry the quality of these posts aren't great. It is hard to scan the three d effects on the printer. That's why they are all flat. The first card to the left..blue one with a hat and cake is a pop up. You untie the ribbon and it folds open and stands flat on your table or wherever. The inside is decorated and stamped.
The brown card and the pink card are both done using the flap fold method. You open the flap and then the next one and finally you are inside. It really is easy to make! Next are all the shadow box cards. I really like the effect but they need a very heavy cardstock to stand up to the folding flat to send. Otherwise, you get creases where you don't want them. Inside are either stamped images, or embossed scenes or sentiments.
Well, I hope you are all ready for the holidays. May you enjoy the spirit of Christmas all year through! Have a great one!

Wow the cards!

Yes, I have been very busy...making card after card after card. I am posting the cards I have made. Hope you like them! As you will notice, the cards are made like pinwheels. I have been having a horrible time with the SU DSP sticking to anything! And nothing seems to want to stick to it. I have even used dbl. sided tape and it still is hopeless!
I do like the pinwheel effect...I used different colored paper and embossing folders by Cuttlebug. It is time consuming to make each little piece and then put together, but I like the final product. Hope you enjoy my cards...Happy Holidays to all!

Christmas

Well, it seems like I just finished the Thanksgiving rush and here it is Christmas. I did count up all the cards I need to make...and have been working on them...Really need to get them done and mailed. But I ran out of envelopes. Going to go to Hollo next week for envelopes. Hope the weather holds out! When I finish the cards, I will be posting pics.
Have a great weekend!
